Detection patterns are taken from our own cookie classifier and are limited to those confirmed in real scans. Patterns we have inferred from vendor documentation but not yet observed are deliberately not listed.
What Lana Ads sets
Lana Ads sets a session, a visitor identifier, an ad reference, an attribution value and a tracking cookie. Together they let the network connect an ad impression to a later action on your store.
Why it is classified as marketing
Ad attribution and audience measurement, with no function in delivering the page. Nothing the visitor asked for depends on these, which is the whole test.
What PDPL requires
Consent before the tag runs, not before it reports. The common failure is loading the ad script at page load and only withholding the conversion event — but the script has already identified the visitor by then, and the identification is the processing PDPL is concerned with.
How Arqam360 handles it
Detected, classified marketing, and blocked at the script layer rather than the event layer, so nothing loads before the visitor agrees. Named in the declaration in Arabic and English.
See which of these are on your store right now, and which are firing before anyone consents.
