Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, improve efficiency, and provide reporting information. Arqam360 uses cookies to deliver and improve our cookie consent management service.
2. Cookies We Use
The Arqam360 platform uses the following categories of cookies:
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| accessToken | Keeps you logged in to the Arqam360 dashboard (httpOnly, secure) | 15 minutes |
| refreshToken | Silently renews your session without requiring re-login | 7 days |
| _csrf | Protects authenticated forms against cross-site request forgery | Session |
These cookies are essential for the service to function. They cannot be disabled.
| Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Measures page views, session duration, and feature usage to help us improve the product | Up to 2 years |
These cookies require your consent. You can opt out via our consent banner or Google's opt-out tools.
| Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Securely processes payments. Stripe may set cookies during checkout to detect fraud and remember payment preferences | Up to 1 year |
| Google OAuth | If you sign in with Google, Google may set cookies to maintain your OAuth session | Session / up to 6 months |
These are only active when you use the relevant features (checkout, Google sign-in).
3. Your Arqam360 Widget — How It Handles Cookies
The Arqam360 widget you install on your website does not set any cookies itself. Instead, it stores visitor consent choices in localStorage to avoid creating cookie consent obligations for the consent tool itself.
The widget fires Google Consent Mode v2 signals (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) to your existing tag management system, which then controls whether third-party cookies are set on your visitors' devices.
4. How to Manage Cookies
You have several ways to control cookies:
- Browser settings — All modern browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Visit your browser's help documentation for instructions.
- Google Analytics opt-out — Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Our consent banner — Use the preferences icon on our website to update your analytics consent at any time.
Note: disabling strictly necessary cookies (authentication, CSRF) will prevent the Arqam360 dashboard from functioning correctly.
5. Cross-border Data Transfers
Cookies set by our third-party providers (Google, Stripe) may involve transfers of data outside the European Economic Area. These providers are compliant with GDPR through Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our services evolve or regulations change. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email.
