Cookie Consent Apps for Salla and Zid (2026): What Each App Store Has

If you run a store on Salla or Zid and want a cookie banner, the first place to look is your platform's app store. We searched both on 30 September 2026. The short answer: each store has one app built for cookie consent, Arqam360, and nothing else whose job is consent. Which cookie consent apps are on the Zid App Market?

One app on the Zid App Market is built for cookie consent: Arqam360. Its listing describes it as a free PDPL and GDPR cookie banner for Zid stores, in native Arabic, with no code to install.

What it does on a Zid store:

• Adds the banner without code. The app places the banner on your storefront through Zid's app snippets, the route Zid gives installed apps to add a script. You don't edit your theme.
• Starts in Arabic. The banner opens in Arabic, right to left, with Arabic buttons: «قبول ملفات الارتباط» and «رفض ملفات الارتباط». A language switcher can offer English.
• Keeps a record. Each visitor's choice is saved with its date, time and the categories accepted or refused, and you can export the records as a CSV file.
• Tells Google what the visitor chose. Google Consent Mode v2 signals start as denied and then follow the visitor's choice, which Google Ads, GA4 and Tag Manager read.
• Lets visitors change their mind. A small badge stays on the page after the choice so visitors can reopen their settings.

Other Zid apps that mention consent

Two other Zid listings use the word, but neither is a cookie banner for your store:

• Microsoft Clarity is a visitor-behaviour analytics tool. Its listing says it is "GDPR and CCPA compliant with built-in consent management". Clarity is itself one of the tools a cookie banner has to control.
• Spin | Win (Lucky Wheel) collects email sign-ups. Its listing talks about "consented leads", which is marketing consent for its own form, not cookies.

Which cookie consent apps are on the Salla App Store?

Apart from Arqam360, no app on the Salla App Store is built for cookie consent, as of 30 September 2026, and none of the eleven global consent tools we searched for is listed. The closest listing is Tolfly Money (تولفلاي موني), a pop-up and notification app. Among the message types its listing names is «رسائل إشعارات ملفات تعريف الارتباط», cookie notice messages.

Its listing doesn't say whether that cookie message includes a reject button, keeps a record of each choice, or sends Google Consent Mode signals. If you try it, check those things against the list below before relying on it.

Why aren't apps that mention cookies always consent apps?

When you search either store for "cookies", most of what comes back is tracking apps: pixel managers, server-side tagging, attribution tools. Their listings mention cookies because they place them, or because they promise to keep measuring when cookies are blocked.

That's a different job. A tracking app sends data to Google, Meta, TikTok or Snap. A consent app decides whether those tags are allowed to run for a given visitor, and keeps proof of the answer. A store that runs ads usually needs both, and it needs the consent app to be the one in charge.

What should you check before installing any cookie app?

Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) expects explicit, informed consent before analytics or advertising cookies run, unless another legal basis applies. Whatever you install, open your store in a private window and check these four things:

• A real reject button. Refusing should be as easy as accepting. A banner with only "OK" doesn't give the visitor a choice.
• A saved record. If a customer or SDAIA asks, you need to show what a visitor agreed to and when. Check that the app stores each decision and lets you export it.
• Google Consent Mode v2. If you run Google Ads or GA4, your tags need to be told the visitor's choice. Without it, Google has less to measure with, and your ads have less to learn from.
• Arabic that reads right to left. The banner should open in Arabic for Arabic-speaking visitors, laid out right to left, with button text written in Arabic rather than carried over from English.

This matters more now than a year ago. PDPL's grace period ended on 14 September 2024, SDAIA confirmed 48 enforcement decisions in its January 2026 announcement, and administrative fines reach up to SAR 5,000,000.
