Can I use Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel in Egypt without consent?

Not when they identify visitors. Law No. 151 of 2020 names online identifiers as personal data and requires explicit consent to process them, so Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel wait for the visitor's opt-in. Both also send data to platforms outside Egypt, which needs a licence from the Personal Data Protection Center.

Google's tools can stay denied through Consent Mode v2 until the visitor chooses, then send data only for the categories the visitor accepted.

The Meta Pixel does not read Consent Mode, so it has to be held back until the visitor accepts.
