Can I use Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel in Bahrain without consent?
Not if you rely on consent for them, which is the usual basis for analytics and advertising cookies. Bahrain's PDPL then requires express consent, given in writing or electronically, before they run: continued browsing does not count, and the site cannot be blocked until the visitor accepts. Google Consent Mode v2 is how Google's tags learn the answer.
So the banner keeps Google and Meta tools waiting until the visitor clicks a real choice, records that click with its date, and keeps a way to change it later.
